The entrance to Swansea Dock as the sun sets over Swansea Bay. Waves did finally arrive on Gower, but alas, lockdown restrictions hold me to my local beach. Under the right conditions, we can observe waves on this heavily sheltered (from waves) beach. But this week brought the crumbling remnants of a relatively weak swell to the shores of Swansea Bay. Storm Christoph's path passed too northerly for any real swell to arrive in the Bay. However, the storm did provide this heavy cloud front holding the sunset as the storm's trailing edge passed over Wales, allowing the sun to finally shine through after bringing a dangerously heavy deluge of rain during the week.
