The waves crumble into the shore as we look towards Mumbles at sunset. A calm start to the week ended with what was potentially a 20-year swell. Such stark contrasts mean more than one photo for this seastate du jour. By the end of the week, we observed some impressive goings-on in the water. A heavy ground swell most commonly associated with storms arrived on our shores, but this time with strong easterly, offshore winds. I've included a few photos taken along Swansea Bay during high tide as this swell arrived, the waves were peaking higher than the wall; I've never seen it so big yet so clean there!
